Hello! I’m Nina, and I work at Finnish Music Creators as the Communications and Organization Manager.
I started in this role back in 2012, and I still genuinely enjoy my work here. I feel that every day I get to do meaningful and important work to strengthen the conditions and opportunities of music creators.
My background is in Folkloristics (M.A.), and I have extensive studies and professional experience in communications. My career began in the youth section of Helsingin Sanomat, and I’ve worked in communications long enough to remember sending articles to the newsroom on floppy disks. A lot has changed since then— in many ways — and that constant evolution is exactly what keeps my work interesting and inspiring.
Above all, I appreciate being able to work with wonderful colleagues and with the unique community of music creators — for them and for their benefit.
