Suomen Musiikintekijät liittyi Welcome Hubiin
Welcome Hubin tavoitteena on tukea musiikintekijöiden liikkuvuutta ja verkostoitumista tarjoamalla maahan saapuvalle musiikintekijälle tietoa ja neuvoa. Suomen Musiikintekijöiden jäsenenä voit olla yhteydessä ennen matkaasi tai matkallasi muihin Welcome Hubeihin. Tällä hetkellä Welcome Hub löytyy Tukholmasta, Oslosta, Helsingistä ja Los Angelesista, pian myös Amsterdamista.
Welcome Hub on ECSA:n (Composer and Songwriter Alliance) hanke. Suomen Musiikintekijät on ECSA:n jäsen.

What is a Welcome Hub?
The aim of a Welcome Hub is to support the transnational mobility of composers, songwriters and repertoire by establishing a hosting structure in ECSA member countries. The idea is to broaden the horizons of creators and in turn generate network possibilities and enhance European creators’ chances in reaching new and wider audiences. The hubs are meant to facilitate collaboration among composers and songwriters and attract diverse members with heterogenous knowledge, always within ECSA’s network.
The Welcome Hub shall provide a first contact point and a possibility to exchange with peers. It provides composers and songwriters with information and assistance as to where one might find professional opportunities and networking activities, such as concert venues or recording studios, as well as practical information such as suitable housing, application for a temporary residence (nonexhaustive list).
Who can become a Welcome Hub?
The only requirement is to be an ECSA member and be willing to provide fellow composer and songwriters from the network with first-hand information when they arrive in your country.
