Salve! Our application process is now open!

Are you an artist from a Nordic country? Would you like to work and be inspired while living in the heart of the eternal city? Well, we have got some good news for you.

You can now apply to be an artist at Circolo Scandinavo through our annual residency program! This round concerns the period between October 2017 and September 2018, and we accept applications between 1.2 and 1.4.

The residency program is our mission: to allow Nordic artists to work for one or two months in Rome, to help you focus on your process and artistic work.

The artists at Circolo stay for at least one month, max two. As artist we consider everyone who works with a creative process, and those who are accepted always have a creative mission on their hands. You could be a writer, a visual artist or a filmmaker, but also a songwriter or an actor! You can find details on our webpage under ”Residency program”, but the most important thing is your application. Go and write us a well-composed application with a clear purpose, and you will surely be considered as one of our next year’s artists!
